The City of Maple Plain encourages citizens to share their talents and perspectives by serving on a board or commission. Serving on a board or commission is a great way to become actively involved in city government and to influence the policies, actions, and progress of our community. Furthermore, citizen involvement is vital to the progress of the city and improves the quality/responsiveness of public decision-making. The City Council appoints citizens who serve voluntarily.
