On a crisp Saturday evening, in the town's bustling core,
Santa set off with a grand roar galore!
From Independence City Hall to Maple Plain’s Veterans Memorial Park,
He spread joy and cheer, lighting up the dark.
With
WHPS guiding his bright, shiny sleigh,
Saint Nick waved and smiled all along the way.
Children and critters, moms and dads too,
All saw the magic as Santa came through.
A picture, a wave, a carol, a cheer,
“Merry Christmas!” he called, loud for all to hear.
It was a sight, oh so grand, oh so neat,
A holiday moment that just can't be beat!
