Happy Friday! Here's your first weekly update. Thank you for your patience and understanding as the work on Howard and Independence begins. All weekly updates will include information for both project areas this year, that is, Howard and Independence as well as Parkview Road and Maple Ridge Drive. Howard Avenue and Independence Street: Week of August 13 Schedule- - Monday/Tuesday (August 13/14)- The contractor will be working on installing temporary water lines and testing them.
- Wednesday (August 15)- If the tests pass on the temporary water lines, the contractor will start connecting individual property owners to the temporary water lines.
- Thursday (August 16)- The contractor will cut in valves along Independence and Howard- Water will be shut down from approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for some properties in the construction area. - Friday (August 17)- The contractor will cut in valves at the intersection of Main St. East and Howard- Water will be shut down from approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for some properties in the construction area. Other Information- - Temporary mailboxes are located on Independence Street near the northwest corner of Howard Ave. and Independence St.

Parkview Road and Maple Ridge Drive: Centerpoint is relocating a gas line on Parkview Road. Please keep on utility flags in place until Centerpoint removes them or notifies you that you can remove them. |
