Here's your second weekly construction update. Thank you for your flexibility and patience as the work schedule changed a bit this past week!

Howard Avenue and Independence Street:

Week of August 20 Schedule-

• Monday (August 20)- The contractor will cut in valves at the intersection of Main St. E. and Howard Ave.- Water will be shut down on some properties on Main St. E. Notices have been distributed to all affected property owners. Please note that this is weather dependent.
• Tuesday - Friday (August 21 - August 24)- The contractor will be working on Sanitary Sewer on Howard Avenue.

Parkview Road and Maple Ridge Drive:

Centerpoint Energy will likely be sending a service crew next week to complete their work on Parkview Rd from Amy Lane to Maple Ridge Drive. Their work will include testing and connecting the existing services to the new main and then abandoning the old main.

Service crews from Mediacom will be starting work on relocating lines on the east side of Parkview Rd from Amy Lane to Maple Ridge Drive. Mediacom will notify you of work to be done that may interrupt your cable/phone/internet service or access to your home. At this time, it is estimated that this work will be completed by the end of the first week of September.
