Here's the weekly construction update for September 21st: Howard Avenue and Independence Street: Construction crews will NOT be working on Saturday, September 22nd due to the wet conditions of the road. If you have an electric dog fence please contact Construction Inspector Tanner Bakke at 320-267-4537. He will walk you through on how to mark the location of it so it is not hit/damaged by construction crews. Also, quick reminder that the Public Gathering for assessments is on Tuesday, September 25 at 7 pm at City Hall. The meeting presentation will be posted on the project website at www.mapleplain.com/2018improvements the day after the meeting. Week of September 24th Schedule- This past week due to the rain, the construction crew did not have many opportunities to make progress on construction. Weather dependent, on Monday, construction crews will be finishing watermain on Howard Ave. Throughout the rest of the week the contractor will be working on installing new water and sewer lines from the mains on Howard Avenue to the right of way at each home (the connection from your residential lines to the city mains). Construction crews will be contacting residents to flush out lines. Parkview Road and Maple Ridge Drive: There are not any new updates at this time.
