Here's a Thursday edition of the weekly construction update. Howard Avenue and Independence Street: Construction crews will not be working on Saturday, October 5th. Please note that Drake and Perkins will be receiving road patching on Monday, October 8th. To make sure the potholes can get fixed, please do not park on these streets on Monday. Special Assessment Hearing notices should have been received by all residents. Please call City Hall if you have any questions. Week of October 8th Schedule- Another week of lots of rain caused a bit of delay in construction progress. Construction crews have finished connecting residential services on Howard Ave from Main Street to Independence Ave. During the beginning of the seek crews will be connect residential sewer lines to the city mains on Howard Ave north of Independence. After services are connected the start of road building is anticipated on Howard Avenue. Please note during road building there will be no access to driveways during construction hours. At the end of each day access will be restored.
Parkview Road and Maple Ridge Drive: Crews may be in the area to do concrete sawing next week. Additionally a road patching company will be patching parts of Parkview Road on Monday October 8th. Please do not park on Parkview Ave during the day.
