Here's your weekly construction update. Have a wonderful weekend! Howard Avenue and Independence Street: Construction crews will be working on Saturday, October 20. We anticipate this will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The intersection of Howard and Independence will not be passable. The Assessment Hearing will be held during the October 22nd City Council meeting starting at 7 pm at City Hall. City Engineer Dan Boyum will be giving a presentation that includes the proposed assessment roll, interest rate and terms of the assessments, and typical year payments. If you are unable to make the meeting, the presentation will be posted online on the project web page. If you are planning on applying for a deferred assessment please contact Nicole or Bobby at City Hall- 763-479-0515 as soon as possible if you have not already! Week of October 22nd Schedule- Construction crews will continue working on sanitary sewer main installation on Independence Street. During construction hours Independence will be hard to access, Perkins is an option. In addition, crews will also continue road building on Howard. Please note during road building there will be no access to driveways during construction hours. At the end of each day access will be restored.
Parkview Road and Maple Ridge Drive: Crews will be working on draintile installation along Parkview Road as well as curb and gutter spot repairs throughout the project area. There will be instances of limited driveway access for short periods of times. Construction crews will notify you in advance.
