Celebrating 31 Years of Service and Retirement with Nate Scott! - A Huge Thank You!
- For an astounding 31 years, Nate has been a member of the Maple Plain Fire Department. From his first day on November 1, 1992, he's been a beacon of strength, leadership, and unwavering dedication to keeping our community safe.
- Nate's not just a firefighter—he's been a Captain, a Treasurer, a Trustee, and so much more. His tireless commitment and leadership have made an immeasurable impact, not just on our town but on everyone he's touched along the way.
- And now, as Nate embarks on a new chapter of his life, we want to celebrate his retirement in style!
- Monday, April 8, 2024, was officially **Nate Scott Day** in Maple Plain, a day to honor his incredible service, countless sacrifices, and his well-deserved retirement!

After over 35 years of service to the cities of Maple Plain and Independence, Sgt. Rick Denneson is retiring from West Hennepin Public Safety. - Please join us in celebrating Sgt. Denneson's well-deserved retirement on April 30th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Independence City Hall. If you know Rick, you know his commitment, courage, and compassion have touched countless lives, and we are profoundly grateful for his service. We welcome everyone who can help us reminisce about the past 35 years of Sgt. Denneson's career.
