As Memorial Day approaches, the city of Maple Plain extends its solemn reverence and gratitude to all those who have served and sacrificed for our nation. May we never forget the true meaning of Memorial Day, and may we always honor the courageous individuals who have given everything for our nation. A Service with Rituals honoring our Active and Deceased veterans will be performed. Lewis is located one mile west of Maple Plain on U.S. Hwy. 12 at County road #90. Service will be complete with Guest speaker Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt. With soloist Melanie Jacobson. Public encouraged to bring your “unserviceable U.S.” Flags.
