City Offices on the November Ballot The Mayor and two city council positions are on the ballot. Any Maple Plain city residents interested in running for office may file an Affidavit of Candidacy and pay a non-refundable $2 filing fee at City Hall, 5050 Independence Street, Maple Plain, MN 55359. The filing period for City office positions opens July 30th and ends August 13th (the office will remain open until 5 pm). Candidates may file during regular City Hall office hours, 9-4, Monday - Friday. Indulge in delicious treats while engaging in meaningful conversations with Maple Plain council member Andrew Burak. This is your chance to voice your thoughts, share your ideas, and connect with one of the leaders shaping our community's future.
