A sign/fence permit is required for all signage (both permanent and temporary) and fencing. In addition to the sign/fence permit, a building permit is required for permanent signage and fences higher than 6 feet.
A permit is required for any work completed for outdoor water and sewer infrastructure. This includes adding new infrastructure, repair, disconnecting from the system, and reconnecting to the system.
The City of Maple Plain issues dog tags solely for the purpose of assisting West Hennepin Public Safety when they find dogs. Tags are issued at City Hall for a $5 fee. There is no expiration on the tag and no vaccination documentation required.
